Mudam Luxembourg – Musée d’Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean
Contract: Full-time, permanent (40 hours/week)

Mudam Luxembourg is seeking an Editorial Coordinator to oversee the design and production of internal and external communication materials, including exhibition guides, brochures, signage, and reports. Reporting to the Deputy Manager of the Communication and Engagement Department, the role ensures a consistent editorial strategy, high-quality content, and efficient production workflows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing editorial workflows, ensuring alignment with Mudam’s programming.
- Overseeing the production of communication materials across print and digital formats.
- Coordinating with external service providers (translators, editors, proofreaders).
- Budget management for communication material production.
- Ensuring quality control, fact-checking, and proofreading across all content.
- Securing image rights and legal deposits.
- Conducting editorial audits and making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- University degree in publishing, literature, or applied foreign languages.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a museum or cultural institution.
- Expertise in editorial project management, content strategy, and publishing workflows.
- Excellent writing skills in French and English (German is an asset).
- Strong budget management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail with exceptional syntax, grammar, and spelling.
- Knowledge of intellectual property law.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
