About the Program
LACE (Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions) is now accepting proposals for the eleventh edition of its Emerging Curator Program, which provides a platform for new curatorial voices in the Los Angeles region. The 2026 edition focuses on moving image-based curatorial projects to be presented as a program or series rather than a conventional exhibition.
What’s Offered
The selected curator or curatorial team will:
- Receive a $6,000 budget to realize the project
- Collaborate closely with the LACE team across a year-long planning period
- Be supported with venue, curatorial feedback, assistance with presentation, and promotional outreach
Eligibility
- Applicants must reside in the Los Angeles region
- Open to individuals or curatorial teams (no artists submitting their own work)
- Projects must align with LACE’s mission to support experimental work
