Salary: $55,000–$65,000 (Full-time, exempt)

Squeaky Wheel seeks a dynamic and visionary Executive Director to lead its celebrated media arts organization. This leadership position involves overseeing all aspects of the organization’s operations, programs, and strategic direction, while nurturing meaningful community relationships and advancing the organization’s mission to support media art access and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic vision and policy in collaboration with the Board
  • Lead finance, development, and grant-writing efforts
  • Supervise full-time and part-time staff, interns, and volunteers
  • Maintain partnerships across community, nonprofit, and media arts sectors
  • Represent the organization locally and nationally in the arts ecosystem
  • Champion equity, access, and inclusion across all programs

Candidate Profile

  • 3+ years in nonprofit arts leadership or program management
  • Proven experience with budgets, fundraising, and grant management
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Media Arts or related field preferred
  • Familiarity with tools such as QuickBooks, Salesforce, Google Workspace, and WordPress
  • Values collaboration, creativity, adaptability, and cultural competency
