Assistant in the Exhibition Department at Museu Picasso Application Submission Deadline: April 30, 2024
Job Type: Mid-level graphic coordination technician at the Fundació Museu Picasso, Barcelona.
Duties:
- Write request letters for exhibitions.
- Prepare loan sheets and all related lender documentation.
- Manage requests for images and videos for exhibitions.
- Input and maintain data in MuseumPlus Ria.
- Compile lists for various exhibition collaborators.
- Help set up and take down exhibitions.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
- Applicants must be nationals of Spain, another EU member state, or a state covered under EU treaties allowing free worker movement. Spouses and dependent descendants of these nationals can also apply.
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old and not beyond the retirement age.
- Functional ability to perform required duties.
- No prior dismissal from service or disqualification from public functions.
- Compliance with all current incompatibility legislations.
- Holders of a high school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent must validate their credentials by the application deadline. Foreign qualifications need validation from the Ministry of Education.
Language Skills:
- Proficiency in Catalan (Certificate C1 or higher required, or pass a mandatory test).
- Proficiency in Spanish for non-Spanish nationals (verification through educational or official certifications).
Experience:
- Minimum of two years in the cultural sector.

Compensation:
- Temporary six-month contract due to task accumulation.
