Fundación Malba is seeking an Exhibition Coordinator to join the Curatorial team. The successful candidate will have a passion for Latin American art and culture.
Responsibilities
- Organize, coordinate, and supervise temporary exhibitions.
- Work with curators, artists, and technical staff.
- Coordinate the movement of works and materials.
- Manage documentary and photographic materials.
- Handle information for labels and room texts.
- Manage budgets, insurance, and contracts.
- Follow up with suppliers for temporary exhibitions.
- Organize meetings and facilitate materials for different museum areas.
- Act as a liaison between guest curators/artists and Malba staff.
Requirements
- University degree in Fine Arts (Art History or similar).
- Previous experience in coordinating exhibitions in museums or galleries.
- Creativity, proactivity, and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- Three to five years of experience in the field with similar responsibilities.
