Introduction
Fluxus Art Projects is now accepting applications for exhibition projects and curatorial research trips until Friday, May 10 at midnight. This initiative finances projects that enhance the contemporary French art scene in the UK and the British art scene in France, supporting exhibitions and curatorial residencies.
Project Criteria
Eligible projects must involve contemporary art by artists or curators based in France or the UK. They should showcase active collaborations between the art sectors of both countries and focus on visual arts.
Eligibility Criteria
Fluxus Art Projects supports:
- Exhibitions and projects by artists based in France and the UK.
- Curatorial research trips for curators from France in the UK and from the UK in France.
Funding is available to non-profit organizations such as:
- Art centers, museums, cultural institutions, and artist-run spaces.
- Art education organizations.
- Research centers.
- Online projects.
- Artists’ publications.
Application Process
Artistic structures, not individual artists, must submit applications for exhibitions and artistic projects. Curators must submit their own applications for research trips. Projects should be linked to specific exhibitions, art centers, institutions, or artistic events.
Open Call for Applications
Fluxus Art Projects conducts an open call for applications twice a year. The first round closes in mid-November for projects from January to June, and the second round closes in mid-May for projects from July to December. Notifications about deadlines are circulated via email and announced on social media.
Application Forms
All application forms must be in English, prioritizing innovative practices and new works production. Applicants should confirm their submission by sending emails to designated addresses.
