Exhibitions and Collection Registrar, ARTIST ROOMS

This is a great opportunity for an experienced museum professional to play a key role in delivering this ambitious national programme. As the Exhibitions and Collection Registrar you will be part of a creative project team working for Tate and National Galleries of Scotland (NGS). ARTIST ROOMS aims to widen access and engagement for audiences with international modern and contemporary art through a programme of solo exhibitions developed with museums and galleries across the UK.  In this exciting role you will project manage the logistical delivery of the ARTIST ROOMS exhibition programme at partner venues from planning to realisation.

A skillful registrar, your experience of working with a major museum or gallery collections combined with excellent project management skills and proven experience of working to national museum standards for transportation, handling, packing and environment and insurance requirements will make you ideal candidate. An excellent communicator and influencer, you will be adept at working flexibly and collaboratively across teams, with the ability to manage and motivate people, and to solve problems pragmatically through negotiation to achieve project delivery.  Above everything, you’ll be excited by the challenges and opportunities the role offers, and the part you can play in bringing this unique programme to audiences.
