Art Jameel is looking for an experienced curator to plan and deliver an ambitious exhibitions programme over a 10-month period at the Jameel Arts Centre in Dubai. This is a fixed-term role that is cover for permanent staff on leave. The role will involve the management of planned group and solo exhibitions, curating a dynamic film programme as well as overseeing publications and content for exhibitions related public programmes. Based in Dubai, the role reports to the Director of Art Jameel and is part of a 4-person exhibitions team. This position is suited to a curator with experience and good knowledge of international contemporary arts, is ideally bilingual (Arabic/English) with a strong global network.
Desirable: Experience working with and producing displays, exhibitions or a permanent collection
Preferred: Fluency in English and Arabic (both reading and writing).
