FACT is looking for a new Curatorial Assistant for a one-year contract. Building on the legacy of 20 years of commissioning and presenting projects by artists working in film, video and new and emerging media forms, FACT’s Programme team has developed a flexible, pragmatic and responsive approach, working with a wide variety of partner organisations. The team recognises the need to take a distinctive and challenging position regarding the work that it commissions and exhibits’, working with various artists whose practice clearly illustrates a commitment to critical investigation.
FACT is consistently growing its digital footprint though integrated programming alongside exhibitions, events and collaborations, which are designed to attract and engage new and existing audiences.
The Curatorial Assistant role will work across the Programme department in ensuring that we are delivering excellence at all times. This role will provide crucial administrative and research support to the team whilst having the opportunity to provide editorial input via our online channels.
