Job Description:
Join our team as a Family Education Officer, providing maternity cover. In this role, you will collaborate with families and researchers to create and deliver diverse informal science programs, focusing on building science engagement within our target audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and execute family events and activities.
- Develop self-guided resources like backpacks and trails for family visitors.
- Collaborate with researchers and other volunteers.
Qualifications:
- Passion for the natural world and experience in science communication.
- Prior experience working with family audiences in a museum or visitor attraction, with a good understanding of diverse audience needs.
This is a full-time position, covering maternity leave, and may involve some weekend work.
