Salary: $28.60 per hour

The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston offers the Stavros Niarchos Fellowship in Classical Art, a nine-month term position providing curatorial experience in the Department of Art of Ancient Greece and Rome. Fellows will support research, collection management, digitization, gallery work, and public engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Improve records in the collections-management database
- Handle and research objects, including archives and archaeology materials
- Assist with digitization projects and gallery activities
- Support public engagement programs and presentations
- Contribute to departmental digital projects
Requirements
- Advanced graduate student in Classical Art or Archaeology strongly preferred
- Excellent research, clerical, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proof of U.S. work authorization at the time of hire
Schedule
- 28 hours per week
- September 2026 – May 2027 (flexible start/end dates)
