ASSEMBLE Fellowship – Open Call for Artists and Curators

Location: Cyprus; Spain (Basque Country); Ukraine; international mobility required

ASSEMBLE is a new international arts programme exploring the climate emergency at the intersection of involuntary migration, displacement, conflict, and ecological decline.

The programme offers three Fellowships for Artists, Curators, and cultural practitioners with lived experience of involuntary migration or displacement. The Fellowships are open to practitioners based in Cyprus, Spain (Basque Country), and Ukraine who seek to (re)build their curatorial practice and international networks.

Applicants must be able to travel internationally to Cyprus, Spain, Ukraine, Morocco, and the United Kingdom.

Funded by the European Union, ASSEMBLE is led by D6:EU (Cyprus). Partners include Congress of Cultural Activists (Ukraine), Moving Artists (Spain), On the Move, D6: Culture in Transit (UK), ARC – Artist at Risk Connection (France), and Larnaka2030 (Cyprus).

The programme focuses on long-term support for Artists, Curators, and cultural practitioners with lived experience of involuntary migration or displacement, embedding a shared vision around cultural rights, mobility justice, and freedom of expression.
