The role
Experience Wellington has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Fundraising Coordinator to join our team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic professional who will support the team to ensure delivery of strategies to optimise fundraising revenue.
We have an exciting workplan coming up including capital campaigns plus a number of new fundraising initiatives. We aspire to grow all fundraising revenue streams and you will play a part in this. This is a varied role with lots of opportunities for skill development, including working hands-on with Campaign Monitor and Salesforce.
You’ll work with the strongly collaborative Fundraising, Marketing and Communications team members to recognise, and support innovative fundraising opportunities across the organisation including for our audience programmes.
If you are a proactive, solution-focused individual, eager to learn and be active across fundraising initiatives, are to work across a variety of tasks and have excellent attention to detail then this role will suit you.
The essential skills and experience for the role
You might be starting out on your career, or you want to contribute to fundraising in the arts and culture sector. You have strong written and verbal communication skills, and you enjoy working with a variety of stakeholders internally and externally. But most of all you will be a passionate advocate for the arts and culture sector.
