Ikon Gallery is seeking a Gallery Assistant to support the daily operations of the gallery, including front-of-house duties, exhibition support, and public engagement. This fixed-term role is ideal for candidates interested in gaining hands-on experience in a leading contemporary art institution, working closely with exhibitions, events, and visitors.
The position involves welcoming and assisting the public, invigilating exhibitions, supporting installs and deinstalls, and contributing to the smooth running of gallery activities. The Gallery Assistant will also provide general administrative and operational support as required, working as part of a small, collaborative team.
