Overview:
To assist with the daily tasks and functions of the Cleve Carney Art Gallery, wings Student Gallery and COD permanent Art Collection.

Description:

Assist Art Curator in promotion of exhibitions and execution of programming.
Maintain social media presence for gallery.
Compose and mail monthly gallery newsletter and e-blast.
Oversee gallery mailings of exhibition postcards and catalogs.
Assist with coordination of exhibition receptions and events.
Assist with installation of work in gallery.
Provide tours of gallery and permanent art collection.
Greet visitors and watch gallery space.

Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE: Customer service, data entry, social media and website experience.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma

PREFERRED: Gallery, museum or other contemporary art setting. BA or BFA in Art, Art History or related field

Additional Information:
MAC computers, power drills, level, hammer, ladder and other basic installation tools.

Primarily in gallery setting. Occasional outdoor work. Occasional lifting of objects over 30 pounds and work on ladders. Some required night and weekend hours.
