ATHR Gallery, established in Jeddah in 2009, has become a cornerstone of the contemporary art scene in Saudi Arabia. The gallery emphasizes innovation and new ideas, highlighting the significant role artists play in society. With a focus on both emerging and established talent from Saudi Arabia and the Arab region, ATHR offers numerous opportunities. These include international residencies, special commissions, group exhibitions, symposia, and funding. The gallery operates in a multidisciplinary space in Jeddah and other locations, contributing to the art community’s growth.

Hamza Serafi and Mohammed Hafiz founded the gallery. Their dedication and connections have fostered a vibrant dialogue within the local art scene. Their efforts aim to compensate for the lack of public art institutions by creating a sustainable and globally connected art environment.

Currently, ATHR operates in three main cities: Jeddah, AlUla, and Riyadh. Additionally, the ATHR Foundation, a sister entity focused on non-profit art initiatives, operates in Diriyah, AlBalad in Jeddah, and AlUla.
