Salary: $53,700 – $58,800 annually
Location: Brooklyn & Manhattan, NY
Contract: Full-time, permanent

Pratt Institute seeks a Gallery Coordinator to manage daily operations of the Schafler and Satellite Galleries and assist with installations across all Department of Exhibitions Galleries, including Pratt Manhattan Gallery. Reporting to the Director and Assistant Director of Exhibitions, this role includes supervising student aides, coordinating events, supporting diversity initiatives, and maintaining the permanent collection.

Candidate Requirements

BFA or BA required (studio art and art history coursework preferred)
1–2 years’ experience in an art institution, gallery, or museum
Strong organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with Mac OS, InDesign, Photoshop, and art installation practices
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and travel between campuses
