This full-time, benefits-eligible Appointed Personnel position oversees planning, coordination, and logistics for SoA exhibition programming and operations. The School is home to two dedicated galleries: the Joseph Gross Gallery showcasing 4-6 curated exhibitions per year, and the Lionel Rombach Gallery, showcasing student work. These galleries exist within the broader environment of museum and exhibition spaces across campus and in the greater Tucson Community, including the University of Arizona Museum of Art, the Center for Creative Photography, The Poetry Center, the Tucson Museum of Art and the Museum of Contemporary Art Tucson. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in contemporary curatorial practice as well as a track record building institutional and community collaborations and partnerships.

We especially encourage applications from groups historically underrepresented in academia.

Outstanding UA benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance plans; life insurance and disability programs; paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays; UA/ASU/NAU tuition reduction for the employee and qualified family members; state and optional retirement plans; access to UA recreation and cultural activities; and more!
