David Zwirner seeks a Gallery Intern. This full-time position is in the Administrative Assistants category, focusing on Administration & Office Support.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is highly personable, motivated, and responsible. They should thrive in a fast-paced international gallery environment. Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is crucial.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily administrative support at the Front Desk. This includes greeting visitors, serving guests, managing mail, and replenishing supplies.
- Monitor exhibition areas to protect artworks and interact with the public as needed.
- Help with exhibition openings, art fair preparations, and special events.
- Keep the Gallery Library organized and track inventory movement.
- Ensure the gallery, offices, and viewing rooms are tidy.
- Assist the Sales & Marketing team with artist research, presentations, and gift sourcing.
- Organize press clippings and manage image archives.
Job Requirements
- Must be available by early April for at least 3 months.
- Work hours are 11 am – 7 pm, Tuesday through Saturday.
- Must have a valid HKID or HKSAR employment visa.
- A degree in Fine Art or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in art galleries or museums is beneficial.
- Skills in Photoshop, Adobe, Excel, and Google Documents are highly desired.
