Blue Velvet Projects, a contemporary art gallery based in Zurich and Madrid, is seeking a Gallery Intern to support exhibitions, art fairs, digital platforms, and daily operations. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and international gallery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating exhibitions and art fairs.
- Maintain and update digital platforms (Artnet, Artsy, website, newsletters).
- Support database management and general gallery operations.
- Act as front-of-house, welcoming visitors and handling inquiries.
Candidate Requirements
- University student or recent graduate in art history, cultural management, media/communication studies, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); German is an asset but not required.
- Availability to work occasional Saturdays.
