The Role
Galerie Fabian Lang is seeking a full-time Gallery Manager to support its Gallery Director across communications, administration, organisation, artist liaison, sales and client relations.

Administration and Gallery Operations
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting front-of-house activities and helping manage the gallery’s daily operations and maintenance

- Packing and unpacking artworks
- Hanging and installing works
- Coordinating national and international art transportation
- Producing communications materials, including social media content, newsletters, artwork lists, press releases, artist biographies and CVs
- Organising and managing the gallery’s internal and external events
- Providing evening support during exhibition openings
- Managing and updating the gallery website
- Maintaining and effectively using the gallery’s contact database
- Conducting research and maintaining documentation
- Managing the daily calendar and updating meeting agendas
- Supporting the Gallery Director with additional responsibilities as required
Artist Liaison
The Gallery Manager will:
- Serve as the principal contact for assigned artists
- Coordinate the production of artworks
- Manage inventories for gallery artists
- Represent the gallery at artists’ external exhibitions

Sales and Client Relations

Languages and Technical Skills

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign
- Experience managing websites through platforms such as WordPress or Squarespace
