- 18 month, fixed-term contract with an immediate start
- Full-time, flexibly split over seven days

Job Description:
Giant is a not-for-profit organisation that moves at commercial gallery pace. Giant delivers an ambitiously curated exhibition programme showing world-class artists. We’re looking for an experienced self-starter, who has worked in a similar role in a gallery. We need someone who has experience working with public funding bodies and can deliver the programme for the next eighteen months. This role needs an impeccable communicator who pays close attention to the finer details.
Responsibilities:
- Planning, managing and implementing all aspects of Giant’s exhibition programme
- Formulating and managing all exhibition budgets through liaison with the Director
- Preparing and implementing all contracts and loan paperwork for exhibiting artists
- Liaising with the Arts Council, preparing a quarterly report
- Closely liaising with guest Curators and artists to plan and manage exhibition layout and requirements for all installation
- Planning and managing the logistics of all artworks to and from the gallery, liaising with couriers and shippers to ensure on time delivery of all exhibitions
- Managing the install and de-install schedules with a team of freelance technicians
- Preparation for private views: printing gallery guides, ordering window vinyls, ordering drinks, hiring glasses, scheduling Invigilators etc.
- Ensure the gift shop is stocked to coincide with changing exhibitions and is always inviting
- Line management of the Invigilators; ensuring the gallery spaces are covered at all times and are always highly presentable
- Ensuring UK health and & safety procedures are met and adhered to for a public space
- Maintaining good record keeping and e-filing of all gallery documentation
