About La Galerie Paris 1839

Founded in 2014 and located in Central, La Galerie Paris 1839 specializes in contemporary art, particularly photographic fine art prints. The gallery showcases work from both local and international artists, marking itself as a pioneer in Hong Kong’s photography-focused art galleries.

Responsibilities

Gallery Operations

• Collaborate closely with Gallery Directors.
• Manage daily operations, including invoicing, insurance, and legal filings.
• Train and supervise staff.
• Oversee exhibition production and installation, working with artists.
• Maintain artwork databases, manage inventory and storage.
• Organize logistics for events (e.g., openings, talks, art fairs).
• Prepare marketing materials, develop campaigns, and coordinate with media and art organizations.
• Manage social media and online art platforms.
• Research and develop online art presentation and sales platforms.
• Cultivate client relationships and follow up on sales interests.
• Provide sales and after-sales services, including art and framing consultations.
• Engage with potential collectors and new clients.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• University degree in a related field.
• Passion for contemporary art and photography.
• Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and AI preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin.
