Art News Africa (ANA) is an online publication and collaboration platform chronicling the African art revolution.
We are looking for a General Manager.
Your role will involve:
- Creating and sharing relevant content in the space exclusively for ANA on a daily basis and ad-hoc basis.
- Creating a new Art News Africa website presence with daily content
- Building out the existing, leading Instagram page in the space with daily content – reposting, and special content on LinkedIn where sensible
- Focus on engagement and community management across socials and web with collaborations
- Creating content campaigns to engage more people across channels
- Weekly newsletter with guest features
- Artists visits
- Studio tours
- Interviews
- Brand growth and partnerships
- Spearhead collaborations, partnerships, and new initiatives
- Spearhead the Art News Africa Foundation for engagements
- Curation and commercial operations
- Engaging galleries and artists on buying and selling works under the Art News Africa Collection
- Engaging partners for advert placements and paid promotions
Requirements:
- Proficient with social media and content creation platforms
- Proven interest and knowledge of African art sector
- Self-driven and motivated
- Excellent organisation, and time management skills
