Phileas – The Austrian Office for Contemporary Art invites museums, biennials and art institutions to apply for grants supporting international projects featuring Austrian and Austria-based artists in 2027.
Over the past ten years, Phileas has funded 154 projects internationally, enabling the production of more than 270 new artworks.
Eligibility
To be eligible:
- Applications must be submitted by non-profit art organisations based outside Austria;
- Projects must present work by at least one Austrian or Austria-based artist; and
- Projects must open during 2027.
The funding supports the international presentation and production of projects involving Austrian contemporary art.
