Fundación Ama Amoedo will award 10 grants to support the Latin American artistic field, with a predominant focus on South America. The initiative aims to provide resources and opportunities to strengthen the art ecosystem and its institutions.
The grants will be distributed in four categories:
- Artists: four grants
- Art and Social Engagement: two grants
- Organisations: two grants
- Publications: two grants
The program is intended for artists, artistic collectives, non-profit organisations, institutions, and foundations that have a significant connection with Latin America, whether by nationality, cultural heritage, and/or the site where the project will be carried out.
Applicants may only apply to one category, and each has specific conditions for application. In all cases and without exception, applicants must be at least 18 years old. For group applications (institution, association, or foundation), one person must be designated as the project holder/legally responsible, either individually or as a legal entity represented by its authority.
The duration of the projects will be:
- One year from the awarding date for Artists, Art and Social Engagement, and Organisations.
- Two years for the Publications category.
Each selected proposal will receive 10,000 USD.
