Head of V&A Academy

We are seeking a dynamic, creative and entrepreneurial self-starter to lead the V&A Academy, growing its adult learning programmes and significantly developing new content assets across lifelong learning and professional remits.

This ranges from year and term-long courses, to shorter day and week intensive courses and workshops. The majority of programmes are income-generating working towards an income in excess of £1.2m per year by 2020/21.

The post-holder will be responsible for steering the overall strategy and business model of the Learning Academy, and for developing new programme strands, programme formats, and potential partnerships. They will be expected to set and meet financial targets, and to work closely with Digital Media and Marketing to significantly grow new audiences, on-site and online. They will also manage a team and prepare updates for the Senior Management Team and Trustees.
