Role Summary
The Head of Arts in Colombia is a key figure in the Americas’ arts sector. This role involves leading the planning and execution of arts activities in Colombia. It focuses on global arts programs like Culture Connects and Creative Economy. The Head of Arts will work closely with the country’s leadership and global arts management teams. They will ensure the arts portfolio aligns with regional and global strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize expertise in the arts and creative industries to develop global arts programs.
- Maintain relationships with the Global Arts team to align with UK and global priorities.
- Act as a credible authority in Arts within Colombia, engaging with external stakeholders.
- Foster collaboration across the Arts network, promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Ensure quality and impact in global arts programs.
- Manage the Arts portfolio, adhering to global standards.
- Support the planning and execution of country-specific arts initiatives.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of current arts and creative industry trends in Colombia.
- Experience in managing national arts or creative industry projects.
- Proficiency in English (B2 level) and Spanish (C1 level).
