The Weston Park Foundation is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to play a key role in shaping and delivering an engaging, inclusive visitor experience by leading the development, care, presentation and interpretation of Weston’s collections and the wider Estate.
About the Role
The successful candidate will lead the curatorial and learning team in the development of creative and innovative ideas to support the Foundation’s objectives to educate, preserve and enhance the cultural and heritage assets.
Working closely with the CEO and Board of Trustees, the Head of Collections and Engagement will help shape strategic initiatives that raise the profile of the house, collections and wider estate. This work will focus on expanding access for both existing and new diverse audiences, while building a commercially sustainable, culturally rich programme.
The role combines curatorial leadership with strategic oversight of both formal and informal learning. It will ensure that the exhibitions, events and educational resources are imaginative, inclusive and accessible. In collaboration with educational partners and the in-house teams, learning initiatives will be designed and delivered that will deepen public engagement with the history and heritage of Weston Park.
