
Head of Cultural Management
At UPC, we are looking for the best talent for the position of Chief of Cultural Management, whose mission is to consolidate the positioning of the UPC brand as a reference in the national university and artistic cultural sector from Vida Universitaria and UPC Cultural. Develop and lead cultural management strategies, attracting artistic talent and promoting long- and short-term culture for the UPC.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor or Graduate in Administration, Marketing, Communication or Industrial Engineering
• MBA or Master in Marketing, Communication or related
• Postgraduate Studies or specialization in Cultural Management, Curatorial, Museography or related
• Experience 10 years in cultural management
• Minimum experience of 5 years in similar positions
• Minimum experience of 5 years in educational institutions
• Experience leading teams
• Experience in coordination with professionals, institutions, people and providers of the artistic and cultural sector
KNOWLEDGE:
• Knowledge of cultural management strategies
• Knowledge about legislation and institutionality of the cultural sector
• Knowledge of marketing, communication and social media strategies
• Having practiced an art or accompanied an artist or group of artists (Deseable).
• Having developed educational, management and cultural promotion projects
FUNCTIONS:
• Activate the institutional positioning and reputation building strategy related to the cultural and artistic sector, integrating the different actors of the university
• Manage the content, equipment and resources of the UPC Cultural virtual cultural center aimed at the university community and the community in general with artistic, cultural and heritage content
• Lead the communication and social media of the Directorate of University Life and UPC Cultural on their own and institutional platforms.
• Supervise the content management of the Directorate of University Life and UPC Cultural on proprietary and institutional platforms.
• Propose, organize and supervise the internal and external cultural activities and services of the Cultural Management proposal aimed at students, teachers, administrators and prospects.
• Represent the University as a specialized contact for cultural management before external parties: institutions, artists, companies.
• Manage the promotion and integration of different cultural manifestations in different internal and external instances.
• Design and manage the complementary support that members of the UPC Casts receive.
• Manage human resources for the optimal functioning of the program: Calling, monitoring and evaluation of support staff (casting directors, teachers, specialists) related to cultural activities and services
• Manage material resources for the optimal functioning of the program: implements, equipment and infrastructure related to cultural activities and services (rehearsals, presentations, workshops)
• Manage multichannel strategies for attracting artistic and cultural talent, to achieve a win in prospecting and participation goals.
• Manage the scope of cultural services (Cultural Shows, EPE Programme, EPG Programme, Cultural Life, Culture and Knowledge Spaces) and the planning of its growth and support.
• Promoting in-depth knowledge of the different target audiences and potential segments for the UPC brand and for the program through market research and competitive intelligence.
• Participate in the organization, support and improvements of extra-academic and other activities of the institution: University Week, support of activities of other responsible and others.
• Budget management and opportunity for area efficiencies.
