The city of Hamm is looking for a management of the Education and Mediation / Event Management division ( m / f / d ) for its office Gustav Lübcke Museum as soon as possible.
It is an unlimited position with a regular weekly working time of 39 hours per week.
The Gustav Lübcke Museum is a nationally important museum and impresses with its diverse collection focus, a broad educational and educational program and the varied exhibitions. Your diverse and interesting area of responsibility includes.
– Head of education and mediation / event management
– the continuation and redesign of target group-specific, museum-pedagogical offers ( taking into account family friendliness, participation, digital content, accessibility, diversity and inclusion )
– the evaluation and quality assurance of existing and newly developed educational offers
– the maintenance and expansion of the network of cultural education with schools, associations and initiatives as well as educational staff and other multipliers
– Working on outreach strategies: Development of strategies for the „ open museum of tomorrow “ ( participatory exhibiting and collecting, formats of participation and dialogue )
– the coordination of events ( readings, workshops, festivals, … )
– Participation in the further development of the museum app and the development of new digital formats
– the creation of educational materials
– Participation in the visitor: domestic and non-visitor: internal research
You have
– a completed academic university course ( Master ) of cultural studies, art history, archeology, Egyptology, ethnology, cultural education, pedagogy, museology or museum science with a focus on museum education
– Several years of practical experience in the field of museum education and mediation in an artistic or cultural institution
– the joy of developing innovative mediation offers and event formats
– the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and understandably for different target groups
– the experience in event management
– a friendly appearance as well as distinctive communicative, conceptual and organizational skills
– an independent, responsible and team-oriented way of working
– ( desirable ) a communication-proof English in spoken and written
