Head of Exhibitor Relations – Frieze, London, UK

Contract: 1-Year Fixed-Term Contract
Location: Surrey Street, London
Working Hours: 9am–5pm (weekend work required during fair weeks)
Reports to: Director of Exhibitor Relations

Frieze is seeking a Head of Exhibitor Relations to oversee exhibitor services, coordinate exhibitor processes and systems across all fairs, and manage the London-based Exhibitor Relations team. This senior-level role ensures the successful and timely delivery of exhibitor operations across Frieze’s international art fairs.

Key Responsibilities

Exhibitor Processes Coordination

  • Oversee exhibitor timelines across all fairs

  • Liaise with Fair Directors and internal teams to ensure delivery on time and within budget

  • Maintain and update exhibitor procedures and systems

  • Coordinate debriefs with departments and contractors

  • Ensure consistency across fairs in procedures and decisions

  • Lead collaboration with Digital and Data teams to maintain exhibitor platforms and database integrity

  • Support onboarding of Expo Chicago and The Armory Show teams into Frieze systems

  • Track improvements and research sector developments

Exhibitor Services Delivery

  • Oversee applications processes and committee meetings across fairs

  • Manage exhibitor manual launches and stand plan approvals

  • Liaise with Production and Finance teams, including gallery invoicing and debt collection

  • Oversee gallery communications and online content delivery

  • Support Directors with curated sections

  • Act as escalation point for exhibitor-related issues

  • Contribute to overall exhibitor strategy and innovation

Team Management

  • Lead and manage the Exhibitor Relations team

  • Conduct 1:1 meetings and fair-specific briefings

  • Set team goals and support professional development

  • Recruit and train team members as required

Profile

  • Senior-level experience in arts and/or large-scale events

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

  • Proven ability to manage complex, fast-paced timelines

  • Budget management experience

  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and project management tools
