Your mission as the Head of Fundraising:
To contribute to the sustainability of the FJM through the development and implementation of a plan for attracting and retaining collaborators and private donors.
Your responsibilities as Head of Fundraising:
- Contribute to the strategy and general management of the FJM as part of the management committee.
- Drive and implement fundraising strategy.
- Define and implement the annual plan and budget of the area to achieve defined objectives, ensuring efficient and ethical use of resources.
- Define, execute, and supervise loyalty, recruitment, and prospecting activities for new and current collaborators (individual patrons, companies, and foundations).
- Negotiate, monitor and control compliance with collaboration agreements.
- Ensure and define a consistent and selling narrative, overseeing the creation of necessary communication materials.
- Lead the data analysis of donors strategically to increase the donor value and their lifecycle.
- Promote a results-oriented culture, focused on the donor and based on data analysis, ensuring necessary technological developments.
- Manage the relationship with the direction and presidency.
- Lead and manage the team ensuring its development.
- Promote innovation with the updating of the latest trends in fundraising and management.
- Ensure active communication, accountability, and transparency with donors.
- Generate close collaboration with other departments of the foundation, creating synergies and ensuring results.
- Promote the internal philanthropic culture.
- Participate and represent the Foundation in philanthropic and fundraising platforms at a national, European, and other levels.
What do you need for this position?
- Minimum experience of 7-10 years of fundraising in the cultural or social sector at a national and international level.
- A postgraduate degree in fundraising would be valuable.
- High proficiency in Spanish and English is essential, other languages to be considered.
- Work experience in CRM’s and Marketing Automation tools.

Working Conditions:
Permanent contract
Workplace: Barcelona, if the candidate’s residence is elsewhere, the possibility of traveling to Barcelona for a few days a month is required.
Constant travel, depending on visits abroad and within Spanish territory, approximately 30% of the working day.
