Salary: £45,737 per annum, with an annual increment up to £52,841 per annum.

About the Role
The Sainsbury Centre is a world-class art museum promoting cultural dialogue and exchange through art. After a significant relaunch in 2023, it became the first museum to formally recognize the living lifeforce of art, fostering connections across the arts landscape.
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Head of Living Art. This role involves leadership in managing and stewarding the Sainsbury Centre Collection. Responsibilities include overseeing conservation, loans, acquisitions, documentation, and research.
Key Duties
- Strategic Leadership: Serve on the Senior Management Team, sharing responsibility for leading and sustaining an innovative cultural organization.
- Professional Leadership for Collections: Oversee all aspects of collections development, including acquisitions, documentation, care, loans, and researcher access.
Qualifications and Experience
- A postgraduate qualification (MA or PhD) in a relevant subject.
- Experience leading a professional gallery or museum team, including business planning, budgeting, and staff management.
