As a development organization, a funder, and an advocate working both nationally and internationally, we offer an exciting opportunity to lead the Visual Arts domain.
We are searching for an inspirational and confident leader to spearhead our Visual Arts initiatives and join our dedicated team. This role necessitates leadership experience in the visual arts sector, a profound understanding of practices, artist needs, and the promotion of equality. It also demands the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including multi-art form organizations, to forge strategic partnerships.
The successful candidate should possess senior-level expertise and experience in the visual arts field, with a proven track record in project and partnership management. A broad international understanding of visual arts and influential professional networks will contribute to unlocking fresh opportunities for local and national artists, leveraging Scotland’s cultural strengths.
As part of our Arts Communities and Inclusion directorate, your knowledge and insights will drive creative development programs aimed at increasing access and participation in the arts for all segments of society. This role involves managing diverse projects and funding programs, including assessments and budget management.
This dynamic position requires exceptional communication, interpersonal, leadership, and people management skills. Your commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion will be fundamental to all aspects of your work.
