In the School of Education at the Institute for Art, Music and Education (IKMV), the university seeks a responsible, motivated and committed personality as of April 1, 2024 (or sooner), to fulfill the position of:
Instructor of Art and Education (Lehrkraft für besondere Aufgaben)
(salary group EG 13 TV-L, 75%, initially limited for two years)
A release from teaching duties in the public-school system may be possible.
Your tasks:
– Planning and implementation of courses (13.5 SWS; a reduction of 2 SWS in exchange for curriculum coordination responsibilities is possible):
– in the BA degree program “Teaching and Learning,” especially in the modules “Art Education” and “Studio Practice” and
– in the MA degree program, as part of the praxis course, the design of sessions together with teachers from local schools to prepare, support, advise, and assess students for teaching in the schools
– Participation in general institute tasks and in the further development of study programs
– Participation in networking between the university and the school system
Your profile:
– You have a degree from an institution of higher education (MA, MFA or equivalent)
– You have teaching experience at a college or university and/or teaching experience in art (preferably demonstrated through a state examination or comparable) and/or several years of work experience in a relevant field (art education, museum education, etc.)
Additionally desired:
– an active, artistic practice
– publications, familiarity with exhibition organization, or experience in cultural communications

Ihre Aufgaben:
– Planung und Durchführung von Lehrveranstaltung (13,5 SWS, ggf. wird das Lehrdeputat bei Übernahme der Fachkoordination um 2 SWS reduziert):
– in den Bachelorstudiengang „Lehre und Lernen,“ insb. den Modulen „Kunstvermittlung“ und „Ästhetische-künstlerische Praxis“ und
– in den Masterstudiengängen, im Rahmen der Praxisphase, die Gestaltung gemeinsam mit Lehrenden aus der Schulpraxis Veranstaltungen zur Vorbereitung, Begleitung, Beratung und Nachbereitung der Studierenden für das Lehramt an Schulen
– Mitwirkung an allgemeinen Institutsaufgaben sowie an der Weiterentwicklung von Studienprogrammen
– Mitgestaltung von der Arbeit in Vernetzungsgremien zwischen Universität und Schule
Ihr Profil:
– Sie haben ein abgeschlossenes wissenschaftliches Hochschulstudium (Master oder äquivalent)
– Sie haben mehrjährige Erfahrungen in der Schul- oder Vermittlungspraxis
– Sie haben Lehrerfahrung an einer Hochschule oder Universität und/oder Unterrichtserfahrung in Kunst, bevorzugt nachgewiesen etwa durch das 2. Staatsexamen (oder Vergleichbares) und/oder mehrjährige praktische Tätigkeit bzw. Masterabschluss
– Sie interessieren sich für eine Weiterentwicklung der Lehrer*innenbildung und eine stärkere Verbindung von Universität und Schule
Zusätzlich erwünscht:
– Eigene ästhetisch-künstlerische Praxis
– Publikationen, Ausstellungstätigkeiten, Vermittlungstätigkeiten oder Ähnliches
