ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Intermix Residency, established by the Saudi Visual Arts Commission in partnership with the Fashion Commission, offers a fully funded residency in the JAX district of Ad Diriyah. The program supports emerging and mid-career artists, designers, and curators from Saudi Arabia and around the world. It encourages experimentation and collaboration in a dynamic creative space.
The second phase of the program includes three ten-week cycles. Each cycle brings together fifteen residents from diverse backgrounds to explore and innovate across disciplines. Participants will engage in personal and collaborative projects, culminating in a public two-day open studio event.
The goal is to foster a shared creative language that showcases the potential of visual arts, fashion design, and curation.
APPLICATION DETAILS
The Intermix Residency welcomes applications for its second phase through three submission periods. Eligible applicants include Saudi nationals, residents, and international talents in the visual arts, fashion design, and curation sectors. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and interested in projects related to innovation, transformation, and sustainability. They should demonstrate a commitment to collaborative and cross-disciplinary work.
A committee of specialists in visual arts and fashion will select the participants.

- Commitment: Must engage on-site in Riyadh for the 10-week period and develop a project focusing on innovation, transformation, and sustainability.
