Tokyo Arts and Space (TOKAS) announced the open call for its Curator Residency Program 2027, inviting distinguished and highly motivated curators working in curation, art criticism and cultural research from around the world to conduct research in Tokyo.
The residency supports curators in developing and presenting their research and ideas while engaging with Tokyo’s cultural landscape. Selected participants will also be required to deliver mentoring sessions for local emerging creators and participate in a public talk.
Residency Periods
Applicants may apply for a residency lasting between 1 and 3 months within one of the following periods:
- Beginning of May – end of July 2027
- Beginning of September – end of November 2027
- Beginning of January – end of March 2028
