International Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD) – 2026 Call for Funding Requests

UNESCO’s International Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD) invites public institutions and NGOs from eligible countries, as well as international NGOs registered in States Parties to the 2005 Convention, to submit funding requests for projects that strengthen dynamic cultural and creative sectors in developing countries. Projects should aim to:
- Implement or develop policies that impact the creation, production, distribution, and access to diverse cultural goods and services.
- Strengthen capacities in public institutions and civil society organizations to support viable local and regional cultural industries and markets.
Since 2010, the IFCD has invested US$13.6 million across 175 projects in 77 developing countries, supporting cultural policy development, entrepreneurship, market access, and inclusion in cultural life.

- Public institutions and NGOs from eligible countries
- International NGOs registered in a State Party to the 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions
