CALL FOR CURATORS

Mahlstedt Gallery announces an international open call to curators to submit proposals for exhibitions during 2016-2017. We are interested in exhibition themes that seek to engage interesting ideas in contemporary art through 2D and 3D works, painting, drawing and sculpture, etc.

Selected exhibitions will be accompanied with installation and administrative support from the Mahlstedt Gallery. We provide the opening reception, wall labels and online marketing and listings, including postcards, press release, social media outreach and e-blasts to the gallery’s subscribers. The exhibitions can span anywhere from 2-4 weeks length of time.

Deadline: We advise submission as soon as possible; however, the deadline is June 29^th.

Guidelines: to submit, please send the following:
1) Resumé or CV
2) Biographical info of participating curators and links to social media
3) Exhibition Proposal: 500 character description max, and timeframe of artwork delivery
4) Support Material: email images to opencall@jam415.com with “Curator Open Call” in the subject line to include a maximum of 10 images, links, sketches, diagrams or other formats of the proposed project.
