The A4 Residency Art Center in Chengdu, China, invites multidisciplinary artists, curators, designers, and cultural practitioners to apply for its 2026–2027 International Residency Program. Since 2011, A4 has hosted over 190 creators from 36 countries, supporting cross-cultural collaboration and the integration of creative practices with communities and commerce.
Selected residents will engage with the dynamic and historically rich context of Chengdu’s evolving urban landscape while benefiting from local resources, community partnerships, and exposure through various public platforms. A unique “Super Agent” system connects residents with local perspectives to support immersion and collaboration.
Residency Periods & Timeline
- Duration: 8 to 10 weeks

- Outcome displays: Sep–Oct 2026 / May–Jun 2027
