About Schinkel Pavillon e.V.
Schinkel Pavillon e.V. is a dedicated exhibition space for contemporary sculpture, installations, and media art located in central Berlin. Our mission is to promote contemporary art by hosting exhibitions featuring both national and international artists within our historic pavilion.
Internship Overview
As an intern, you’ll gain comprehensive insights into the workings of an art association. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the conception, organization, and production of exhibitions.
- Collaborating on the creation of art editions.
- Preparing grant and sponsorship applications.
- Providing support for artists.
- Handling public relations and press work.
- Engaging in diverse tasks within our dynamic team and on-site at the Schinkel Pavillon.
Qualifications
We require candidates with a strong interest in contemporary art and the following qualifications:
- Background in art history or a related field with an art-historical context.
- Proficiency in both German (native language) and English.
- Proactive work ethic, responsibility, discretion, and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe CC, Wordpress, Mailchimp, Photoshop, SketchUp, and standard office applications.
- Previous experience in gallery or project space work is advantageous.
- The internship is intended to be pursued alongside your studies; therefore, you should remain enrolled throughout the application period.
