Internship Opportunity at AFAC’s Grants Department
The Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) invites energetic individuals to apply for an internship in its Grants Department. In the last sixteen years, AFAC has evaluated over 20,000 applications from the Arab region’s arts and culture sector, supporting more than 2,000 projects. The department now seeks an intern to help review this extensive data. The goal is to identify patterns and understand the artistic and cultural trends that have influenced the region over the past decade.
Role and Responsibilities
As an intern, you will engage in:
- Collecting and entering data
- Analyzing data to uncover trends
- Developing thematic studies based on the findings
- Creating statistical and infographic representations of data
This role involves working closely with the Grants Department team, under their guidance.
Ideal Candidate Profile
AFAC welcomes applicants of all nationalities from the Arab region, provided they reside in Beirut and possess the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in Excel
- A broad understanding of regional and international arts and cultural trends
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and solve problems creatively
- Strong organizational skills, including effective planning and reporting
- Fluency in both Arabic and English
