About Shedhalle

Shedhalle in Zurich is an institution for contemporary and critical art, part of Rote Fabrik. We understand ourselves as a place where new forms of artistic and cultural practices – particularly on socio-political topics – are tested, produced, and presented. Your tasks

As part of our team, you will support the management and curatorial leadership in central administrative and organizational processes:
Administration and organization: You will support the management team in all organizational and administrative areas.
Curatorial assistance: You will support with administrative tasks, exhibition planning, coordination with artists, coordination of travel and transport, text preparation, comprehensive exhibition documentation, and archiving.
Financial administration: You will assist with digitizing accounting, invoice processing, cost tracking, and preparing documents for budget control.
Meeting management: You will support with taking minutes of meetings and carefully preparing documents for board meetings.
Personnel and processes: You will support personnel administration and assist with research as well as the development and optimization of institutional workflows.
Communication: You will support the team with internal and external communication, including PR activities and managing social media channels.

Your profile

You speak fluent German and English (written and spoken) – mandatory requirement.
You have a strong interest in art institution management and development as well as continuous learning. You have an affinity for contemporary art and socio-political discourses.
You work in a structured manner, with initiative and a willingness to learn.
Formal training or initial experience in organizational management is a plus.
