The Moreira Salles Institute is offering an internship opportunity in the Collection Department. The activities will be developed in the city of Rio de Janeiro. 1. Main tasks of the internship
- Collection cataloging;
- Research;
- Checking the measurements of the originals;
- Primary cleaning of originals.
2. Requirements
- Agree with the IMS Code of Conduct ;
- Undergraduate student, from the 4th period, in the areas of History, Archives, Information Science, Social Sciences, Communication or Letters (Portuguese);
- Written and oral command of the Portuguese language;
- Willingness to learn and apply this knowledge;
- Availability to complete the internship hours at the Moreira Salles Institute (Glória neighborhood).
3. Differentials
- Desire to work in the third sector with memory projects and cultural products;
- Good writing skills, knowledge of cataloging, research and handling of original collections.
4. Scholarship Value and Benefits
- 4h/day Internship Grant: R$ 1,417.50;
- Meal or Food Allowance: R$ 450.00 monthly;

5. Internship conditions
The internship will be carried out at the IMS office in Rio de Janeiro, with the possibility of visiting partner institutions.
Weekly workload of 20 hours and 4 hours per day, 100% in-person.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, in the morning or afternoon (to be defined).
6. Applications and selection process
In the selection process, only applications that have completed the form by 10 am on September 9, 2024 will be considered.

Stages of the selection process:
