La Nueva Fábrica 2022 Residency

La Nueva Fábrica (LNF) is a contemporary art space in Antigua, Guatemala that promotes artistic experimentation, critical thinking, and social justice through exhibitions, education, residencies, and multidisciplinary workshops.

LNF is pleased to announce its 2022 – 2023 Residency cycle, which offers 5 residencies to local and international applicants.

The program brings emerging and established artists, curators, and cultural practitioners together to reflect, research, dialogue, create and share across disciplines, while engaging with the unique context of Guatemala.

Residents will be selected by a panel of independent jurors comprised of three prominent curators whose practice deeply engages with Central America: Rosina Cazali, Fiorella Resenterra, and Emiliano Valdés.

Selected residents will receive a stipend, housing, and a private studio, as well as the opportunity to travel in the region surrounding La Nueva Fábrica to engage with its diverse artistic and cultural communities.
