Introduction
India Foundation for the Arts (IFA) seeks a dynamic individual for the Lead – Resource Mobilisation role. The chosen candidate will spearhead fundraising and outreach initiatives.
About IFA
IFA, a nationwide, independent, not-for-profit entity, supports arts and culture in India. Since its inception in 1993, it has funded over 800 arts projects, distributing more than Rs 34 crore.
Position Overview
The Lead – Resource Mobilisation will directly report to the Executive Director. This role involves leading a team of two, raising funds, strategizing for growth, and managing fundraising communications and outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement growth and fundraising strategies in collaboration with the Executive Director.
- Meet annual fundraising and revenue targets.
- Monitor fundraising progress and develop a Corporate Engagement strategy.
- Secure program and institutional support through Corporate Social Responsibility.
- Drive new donor acquisition and sponsorship for events.
- Establish and maintain networks, partnerships, and collaborations.
- Manage donor engagement and reporting.
- Organize art events and services for fundraising.
- Oversee fundraising communications and outreach.
Administrative Duties
- Manage the two-member team under this role.
- Prepare budgets, revenues, and plans for related areas.
- Serve as the liaison for the Executive Director and other Heads of Departments.
Other Duties
- Support various IFA departments.
- Represent IFA at different forums.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 10 years of experience in non-profit sector fundraising, preferably in arts and culture.
- Deep understanding of non-profit operations, philanthropy, and arts funding trends.
- Proficient in financial management and fundraising communications.
- Leadership skills with the ability to work across departments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and advocacy skills.
Remuneration
- Up to Rs 15 lakh per annum, based on experience and skills.
