UCL’s History of Art Department is seeking a Lecturer specialising in art and visual cultures from c.1300–1700. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to join one of the world’s leading art history departments, known for its interdisciplinary and globally oriented research.
The successful candidate will contribute to both teaching and research, engaging with critical and theoretical debates in early modern art and visual culture. The department encourages innovative, cross-cultural, and methodologically expansive approaches, including perspectives on gender, race, ecology, and materiality.
