The KunstForm Velsen Foundation offers inspiring cultural education, amateur arts and attention to the experience of culture in the cultural and educational domain to all Velsenaren. She does this together with her dance label Danceworks, the Velsen Library and many partners. All this focuses on having fun participating in culture by children, parents and teachers. After all, the experience of culture contributes to a broad development and participation in society.
The KunstForm team consists of professionals in the field of amateur arts, dance and cultural education. As Manager Culture and Education, you lead a very diverse and creative team with the aim of allowing as many people as possible, young and old, to actively participate in culture in the municipality of Velsen. Your network is very important, you are a connector with the team of local culture partners, the municipality and schools. Together with the team you identify trends and innovation initiatives in the market / industry and translate them into policy, appealing projects and renewal of the service.
You are responsible for the development of the business operations and the positioning of KunstForm. You are part of the combined Management Team Library / KunstForm. You guide desired change processes and stimulate movement in the organization. You are an inspiring sounding board for the Head of Danceworks and the Cultuurcoaches, and support them in active networking and relationship management.
As Manager Culture and Education you are responsible for…
- You maintain and build networks in the municipality of Velsen and the IJmond region.
- You represent KunstForm in the industry and with the industry organizations.
- You develop and organize activities and events in which partners from various disciplines are involved, as well as activities for knowledge exchanges and expertise promotion.
- You are responsible for putting together and supervising the development of the annual plans and policy plans of the cultural education, dance and amateur art departments.
- You give ( bege ) leadership to Head of Division Danceworks, Culture Coaches, Aecretariat and ( Subject ) teachers.
- You work together with the municipality, which is both client and partners, in the field of culture, amateur arts and culture education.
- You are responsible for grant and fund applications as well as the responsibilities in collaboration with the team and the controller.
- You contribute to building and maintaining the network and the KCE guide.
- You are responsible for ( the development of ) the business operations and positioning of KunstForm.
