The Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis (CAM) is looking for a Membership and Annual Giving Manager. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and highly motivated. This crucial role falls within the Development Department, tasked with managing a $3 million annual operating budget and a growing endowment.
Key Responsibilities
Membership and Events
- Develop and implement the membership program.
- Train Visitor Engagement Associates in membership sales.
- Create new member engagement opportunities.
- Produce membership materials for both print and online platforms.
- Plan and execute membership events like Exhibition Patron and Member Previews, and other special occasions.
Fundraising and Prospect Management
- Manage the Contemporary Circle prospect pipeline.
- Work with the team on Moves Management reporting.
- Help in annual giving and major gift solicitation strategies.
- Plan and execute major fundraising events such as the Annual Gala.
Annual Fund
- Oversee data collection for the annual fund.
- Lead the creation and execution of annual fund campaigns.
- Collaborate on communications collateral related to fundraising.
Qualifications
- Four years of experience in a similar role.
- Independent work style with strong decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in technology, including donor databases and office software.
- Availability for travel, evening, and weekend work.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- A passion for contemporary art and culture.
Compensation
This full-time position offers competitive compensation, including benefits, with a salary range of $62,000–$72,000.
